In practice that means: - No referral is needed to be treated. Anyone can book directly. - To claim money back, the patient needs an ärztliche Verordnung (a doctor's prescription for physiotherapy) and submits it with the invoice (Honorarnote) to their Krankenkasse. - Statutory insurance then reimburses part of each session. As an example, the ÖGK refunds €45.60 for a 45-minute physiotherapy session. - Private insurers often cover the full amount. - Patients who book without a referral are sent a plain-English explanation of how to get one and how to claim. ## What he treats Spine and back: back pain and disc problems, neck and shoulder pain (cervical syndrome), scoliosis, posture and ergonomics. Lower limb: ACL and post-operative rehabilitation, runner's knee (patellofemoral pain), Achilles tendinopathy, unstable ankles, hip and piriformis pain. Upper limb: rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, tennis, golfer's and mouse elbow. Strength and prevention: core stability and conditioning, balance and falls prevention, osteoporosis management, return to sport. Formthotics individually fitted orthotic insoles are available as part of treatment where foot or lower-limb biomechanics are involved. ## Cancellation Cancel or move an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, using the buttons in the confirmation email. Inside 24 hours the reserved time is charged in full; the session then counts as a consumed unit and can still be claimed through insurance as normal. ## Contact Phone: +43 664 750 100 99 Email: info@wien-physio.at Booking: https://wien-physio.at ## Pages - [Wien-Physio (English)](https://wien-physio.at/): practice, pricing, conditions treated, FAQ, and online booking. - [Wien-Physio (Deutsch)](https://wien-physio.at/de): the same in German. - [Impressum](https://wien-physio.at/imprint.html) - [Datenschutz / Privacy](https://wien-physio.at/privacy.html) - [AGB / Terms](https://wien-physio.at/terms.html)
